🏹 Shillong Teer Heritage & Regulatory History ▼
Shillong Teer is an archery-based game licensed under the Meghalaya Amusement and Betting Tax Act and conducted by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA) at Polo Ground in Shillong.
Each game day (Monday through Saturday), 50 licensed archers shoot arrows in two rounds. The First Round (FR) shooting occurs in the afternoon (30 arrows per archer), while the Second Round (SR) takes place one hour later (20 arrows per archer). The total arrows hitting the target determine the official two-digit winning numbers.
